This exhibition reconsiders contemporary forms of pain, emerging from a residency at MOTE102, a former pharmacy,  and grounded in themes the artist has long explored—trauma, pain, memory, and dissociation. In the chaos of extreme emotional oscillation, adaptation to pain appears pathological. Referencing psychoanalytic theory, the human is framed as a “patient,” while everyday life continues with unrelenting force.
